The TREADS project has released its third newsletter, highlighting significant progress in the development of specialised training resources and the dissemination of project results across Europe.
One of the key achievements presented in this edition is the completion of the ECVET curriculum, designed to support the development of digitally skilled and resilient tourism professionals. This curriculum addresses the need to identify digital risks, adapt to technological changes and strengthen competencies in the tourism sector.
The project has also developed a Training Plan and Teaching Handbook, providing vocational education and training centres and educators with practical guidance for implementing specialised training activities. The handbook includes step-by-step instructions, course descriptions and expected learning outcomes.
The newsletter also highlights two important multiplier events:
- Thessaloniki, Greece: participants explored the development of the e-learning platform, the ECVET competence profile and the training plan.
- Portorož, Slovenia: the event presented project achievements and introduced upcoming training programmes focused on digital resilience and digital security.
In addition, the consortium held its third transnational meeting in Thessaloniki, reviewing project progress and coordinating the next implementation steps.
Another highlight is the redesign of the TREADS website, offering improved navigation and easier access to information, project developments and educational resources.
