The European TREADS project has published its first newsletter, introducing an initiative dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity awareness, digital skills and resilience in the tourism sector.
Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, TREADS brings together six organisations from Spain, Italy, Greece and Slovenia: CDEA, Fondazione Enaip Lombardia, Travel2Fit, Atlantis Engineering, Arctur and GAIA.
The first edition introduces the project’s main objectives, including the development of specialised training programmes, accessible online learning resources and the exchange of good practices to support tourism professionals, SMEs and vocational education providers.
It also highlights the project’s kick-off meeting in San Sebastián, where consortium partners established the foundations for their collaboration and defined the first steps towards the project’s implementation.
