The TREADS project has published its second newsletter, presenting important progress in the development of educational resources, international collaboration and digital resilience initiatives for the tourism sector.
One of the main highlights is the launch of the TREADS Digital Library, a free online resource hub providing access to materials on cybersecurity, media literacy, digital skills and good practices. The library includes toolkits, case studies, training content and policy insights designed to support tourism professionals, educators and SMEs.
The newsletter also reports on the consortium’s second transnational meeting in Milan, where partners reviewed project progress, shared results and coordinated future activities. The edition additionally highlights the project’s second multiplier event in Milan.
Another important achievement is the publication of the official TREADS project brochure, developed to introduce the initiative to stakeholders and encourage wider engagement.
The newsletter also showcases the project’s presence at international events, including the EfVET Tourism Thematic Team Annual Event in France, the Technology Forum in Greece and Be Digital in Spain.
Finally, the edition explores the importance of resilient tourism infrastructure, drawing attention to the challenges posed by major power outages and the need to strengthen digital risk management and crisis communication skills.
